                 Width of strings at bridge 2 1/4”

                 Top:  Hand carved AAA Grade European Spruce, excellent tight straight grain.

                 Back:  Hand carved AAA Grade Curly European Maple

                 Neck:  Hand carved three piece laminated curly American hard maple

                 Fingerboard:  First Grade ebony

                 Headstock:  Ebony

                 Bindings:  All wood - maple, ebony, blue and green veneer

                 Finish:  Hand rubbed varnish (oil) and special wax blend

                 Fittings: Ebony bridge, tailpiece and pickguard:

                 Tuners:  Schaller gold mini with ebony knobs

                 Nut:  Graphite

                 Strings:  La Bella Electric Jazz Lite 12 - 52

                 Pickup: Benedetto suspended humbucker

 

This is my first guitar.  It was constructed following the excellent book, blueprint and instructional video published by renowned luthier Robert Benedetto.  Tonewoods are AAA grade European Spruce and AAA grade European Maple.
